Celsius fitted 3 no. EcoCooling units to the main Laundry area at Abbey Glen Laundry in Sheffield in 2020, since then a housing estate was built nearby and they then had to attenuate all the equipment on the roof as they operate 24/7.

We then fitted Acoustic enclosures around all the EcoCoolers which reduced the noise break out through the coolers considerably, the EcoCoolers themselves are relatively low noise system, only 63dB(A) at 3m in FFC, but the problem was the noisy internal equipment noise breakout through the ducting and through the coolers.

The design of the enclosures is such as to allow sufficient airflow, performance of the EcoCoolers is unchanged.  The side panels are easily removed for servicing.
